Call for Info regarding CDAO's Testing and Evaluation (T&E) Directorate's requirements for its Joint AI Infrastructure Capability (JATIC) environment. The Government is requesting information on IT cloud services including an integrated DevSecOps pipeline to be used by several software vendors developing software for the Government.
The Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Office (CDAO) Test and Evaluation (T&E) Directorate supports the testing of a variety of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) applications throughout the Department of Defense (DoD). To enable and accelerate AI testing throughout the DoD, CDAO T&E is funded to develop the Joint AI Test Infrastructure Capability (JATIC), a suite of interoperable software tools for comprehensive AI model T&E.
In support of developing these software tools, the CDAO is seeking to identify sources to design, build, and operate the JATIC Integration Environment, an IL4 (Impact Level 4) cloud environment. JATIC software tools will consist of a variety of software applications, developed by several JATIC vendors; these applications will need to be integrated and tested within a government-managed environment, referred to as the JATIC Integration Environment. The JATIC Integration Environment will be an IL4-approved cloud environment and will enable CDAO JATIC vendors to deliver AI test tool code and containers, test their tools in a CDAO JATIC-managed environment, enable CDAO to test integrations of the tools through manual and automated tests, and ultimately deploy the tool code and containers from the integration environment to a DoD distribution system.
